ALOHA PETROLEUM DONATES OVER $5,000 TO HAWAI‘I FOODBANK
HONOLULU, HAWAI’I (October 7, 2024) – Aloha Petroleum recently donated $5,416.12 to the Hawai‘i Foodbank on behalf of its customers. The funds were raised through canister donations at participating Aloha Island Mart convenience stores across the state.
“We are grateful to our loyal customers who share our same values of helping these essential non-profit organizations continue to make a positive impact on our community,” said Veronique Nguyen, Manager of Marketing and Sales at Aloha Petroleum. “The Hawai‘i Foodbank does incredible work to ensure that no one in our beautiful state goes hungry.”
Established in 1983, Hawai‘i Foodbank is a nonprofit agency that provides a range of food services through several charitable agencies. The Foodbank serves O‘ahu and Kaua‘i directly while partnering with The Food Basket to serve Hawai‘i County and Maui Food Bank to serve Maui County. Hawai‘i Foodbank is a certified member of Feeding America – the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, encompassing a network of 200 food banks across the United States.
“Hawai‘i Foodbank is very grateful to Aloha Petroleum and their customers for their generous support.
