SHELL HAWAII’S ANNUAL GIVING PUMP CAMPAIGN TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MAKE-A-WISH HAWAII
HONOLULU, HAWAII (August 29, 2024) – Aloha Petroleum, the gasoline marketer for the Shell brand in Hawaii, will once again invite drivers to participate in its Giving Pump campaign. This year’s campaign will support Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
From September 1 through October 31, designated gas pumps featuring a special “The Giving Pump” logo can be found at select Shell stations across the state with one cent per gallon of fuel to be donated to Make-A-Wish Hawaii. To find the nearest participating Shell location, customers can click here.
“This campaign has been a huge success the past three years, so we want to continue to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need within the communities we serve,” said Veronique Nguyen, Marketing and Sales Manager at Aloha Petroleum. “This year, we are proud to support Make-A-Wish Hawaii and the work they do to bring joy to children fighting critical illnesses during their darkest days.”
Make-A-Wish Hawaii creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. They seek to bring every eligible child’s wish to life, as a wish is an integral part of a child’s treatment journey. Research has shown that children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness.
Since its inception, Aloha Petroleum’s Giving Pump campaign has raised approximately $36,000 for numerous non-profit organizations across Hawaii.
